Dear Border patrol agents, do you know who else claimed "We still have to do our jobs"? German soldiers who worked at death camps during WWII. So,... It's not really a good excuse for being a part of separating families and jailing children.

School Shootings

I've always had a rather dim view of private and #homeschooling except under very specific circumstances. I felt it important that children experience the social aspect of public school. But if we can't stop #schoolshootings and, as in Florida, our solution is to put armed private citizens in schools, even MORE GUNS!, I must admit that home schooling is looking more and more attractive. There's little social value in being surrounded by #guns.
